for our first collection, we celebrate the gifts of unseen collisions at the edges of distinct ecologies.
these coffees carry the quiet insistence of their own unfolding, within the daily acts of world-making that hold rich diversity at thresholds: where farming and forests sit alongside each other, where people and place begin relationships, where fruit surrender to fermentation, and where terrain reveals deep natural histories.
they grew on ecotones, each lot carrying the signature of a natural entanglement that birthed singular expression.
all these coffees were exclusively supplied and produced for our studio
our Midcanopy Collection: limited lots grown within high elevation forests
our Crossings Collection: limited coffees processed by their growers
some farmers we meet for the last time at the same dawn we first exchanged names.
these grower-processed lots are offerings to that fragile encounter. although bagged humbly in weather-worn sacks, each one was gifted as their raw, best work. there is much openness in these first meetings, and the desire to be accepted flows both ways. in this collection, we remember these paths briefly shared, even as they have gently diverged.
